August's issue of Empire has a rather telling road sign as to which direction the popular kid wizard is travelling down. The cover of the issue shows a bloody and mangled Harry Potter, showing exactly why magic bouts are no child's play. Looks like Voldermort did quite a number on him. Shows that you can't make a movie with "blood" on the title and not deliver. We know that the series is heading into a dark place with every chapter, and in the case of the film adaptations, the target audience changes, so the movies themselves become more receptive of screen violence. Don't expect an R-rated Harry Potter anytime soon, but definitely keep the kiddies in check.
