I was wondering how long the pot of absolute bull that rap music has become would be allowed to boil. Seriously, as a long time fan, I can whole heartily say I am not, nor have I ever been down with any of this new wave crap. Apparently neither is Ice-T. He appears on DJ Cisco’s mixtape Urban Legend with a few choice words for Mr. Soulja Boy.
“F*ck Soulja Boy! Eat a dick! This n*gga single handedly killed Hip Hop.
His words, not mine. I swear. He goes on.
"That shit is such garbage man,” Ice-T continues to snarl. "We came all the way from Rakim, we came all the way from Das EFX, we came all the way from motherf**kers flowing like Big Daddy Kane and Ice Cube, and you come with that Superman shit? That shit is garbage."
I think it’s about time somebody spoke up about this. Maybe Ice-T’s rant will start something. Maybe people will realize telling little kids to “Superman that hoe” is wrong. Either way, this is the highlight of my week, and its only Tuesday.
